A year of impact with Pinchapoo

In the quiet corners of homes and hospitals, an unseen issue weighs heavily on the minds of many Australians – the lack of access to essential hygiene products.

At Bank First, our commitment to this issue runs deep. We stand not only by our partners in healthcare but also by the communities they serve. Whether you're a patient, a family member, or a friend, your wellbeing matters to us.

Hygiene essentials should never be a luxury, especially for those who find themselves in vulnerable situations. That's why our partnership with Pinchapoo is so important to us.

Pinchapoo strives to alleviate hygiene poverty in Australia. Every year, millions of discontinued or surplus products face the fate of landfills, despite their usability. In a bid to combat waste and support disadvantaged individuals, Pinchapoo redistributes millions of these products annually to those in need.

In 2024, we worked with Pinchapoo to distribute hygiene packs to our partners in healthcare. Their nurses and care workers were able to provide 11,500 hygiene packs to their most vulnerable patients – including those fleeing from family violence, offering a small but significant relief in their time of need.

But our support didn't end there. In partnership with Pinchapoo, Bank First provided over 20,830 pamper packs as a token of appreciation for those in healthcare who work tirelessly to care for others, and to provide comfort to patients during their hospital stay.

Feedback from our partners has been overwhelmingly positive, with these packs serving as catalysts for comforting conversations and genuine connections between healthcare workers and their patients.

In 2025 and beyond, we look forward to continuing our partnership with Pinchapoo and supporting our partners and their communities.
